Wow! Just tucked into a beautiful rump steak bought yesterday from Hartley Wintney Butchers and cooked on the BBQ. You could taste the quality. Perfect. So lucky to have the butchers so close in the village.
Just had a super tasty spaghetti bolognese cooked with minced beef from Hartley Wintney Butchers and Joseph Morris. Beef mince was stunning (topped off with parmigiano Reggiano!).
Cannot beat the sausages and chicken stir fry I buy each week from Fred. Become a staple in the fridge here! Delicious, best butcher in Hants!
Best cut of rump steak I have had for a long time! I was recommended a sauce which had just arrived in, which was a great accompaniment with it.
The Heckfield cheese is tasty and great value for money.
Fred and his team are always there to help with a smile a friendly chat. (I can't remember the name of the sauce, but it was bloody lovely!).
